EDIT 29/08/2012: I had thought this finished yesterday, but today I've added a little more shading and highlighting just to deepen the image. The Phantom looks much less flat now and Christine's hair doesn't look so flat on the left either. Further refining to the dress has been done, re-defining the lace topper thing that it has round the neckline.

So it's finally finished! In my opinion this is probably the best fully digital drawing that I have ever done - perhaps even the best drawing full stop. I really enjoyed painting it too! Christine's dress nearly killed me though... That alone took about two hours of painting, under-painting, re-high-lighting, shadow-replacing and re-sculpting until I was happy with it... I'm still not completely happy with the Phantom's face, but since I never draw guys I suppose that a little bit of unease is to be expected.

Love Never Dies gets a lot of stick since it's supposedly 'Not as good as Phantom'. Although I agree that the two are vastly different, I actually thoroughly enjoy both, so have decided to post fan art for both shows. I enjoy the music and story of LND and think it should be given a 'lil more lurve~
